IP address management
Audit address allocations across your project's networks on the read-only IPAM page.
The IPAM page gives you a read-only overview of every IP address allocated across your project's networks — instances, networks, and forwards in one table. Use it to audit address usage or to find a free address before creating a network forward or load balancer.
View address allocations
Go to Networking → IPAM. The table shows one row per allocation:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Type | What kind of allocation this is. |
| Used by | The resource holding the address — an instance, network, or forward, linked to its detail page. |
| Address | The allocated IP address. |
| Network | The network the address belongs to. |
| NAT | Whether the address is subject to NAT. |
| MAC address | The MAC address of the interface holding the allocation, where applicable. |
The page is informational only — you cannot change allocations here. To manage the resources behind them, follow the Used by links, or see Manage networks for network configuration and DHCP leases.
